Some of you Maltese owners have kept in touch and we love that you do. We would like to ask a favor of all of you who visit our web-site now and then.  Would you allow us to post your letters for interested buyers to read?

We will not give out your private email address, name or phone numbers to anyone seeking references without your permission.  We understand the helpless feeling of searching the internet for that “perfect” Maltese dog and we feel that your letters and pictures will help them feel safer, which would be good for all involved.  

If you allow us to post your letters, we promise we will print your first (or last) name and which state you live in. We would also like to print the puppy’s name that you purchased from us, along with your stories and the age of your puppy at the time of posting.  Also, if you have a Best Dog Food testimony, please send it also.

All of our Maltese puppies are AKC registered. We home-breed Maltese on a small scale only and we have planned-breeding to create pups with sound minds and great temperaments.  They make wonderful pets! We have many requests for the whole litters of Maltese puppies to be sold to one person.  We do not sell to commercial breeders or pet stores for resale, and prefer not to sell to show-homes either. Our puppies are to be adopted by hand-picked, private, loving homes only. These babies are not to be bought with the intent of resale. Most of our Maltese puppies mature at 4 to 6 pounds; although sometimes we do have smaller puppies.

Maltese must be groomed regularly  Hyper-Allergenic

Maltese do not shed nor have dander, are hyper-allergenic, and they have no doggy body odor.  Even when a Maltese is dirty they do not smell like a dog.

The Maltese dogs are a member of the oldest dog known to man. People call them “Toy Dogs” because of their size, weighing between 4 and 7 pounds when fully grown.

The “crowing glory” of the Maltese is their beautiful mantel of long, silky, white hair. They only have white coats, little black noses, and black eye rims. Maltese are gentle-mannered and affectionate, yet playful and full of animation. Despite their size they possess the vigor needed for an excellent companion.  Unlike most small dogs Maltese are not “yappy”, which is a real plus.

The Maltese is intelligent and easy to train to fetch, walk on a leash, and dance for a treat. Maltese have no fear, and usually know no strangers but seem to have a sixth sense about them. They seem to know if someone has intentions to do their master harm and will let you know (if you're paying attention!)  Although Maltese do not have any fear, they are the most gentle of the toy breeds. Because of the Maltese’s wonderful temperament it has proven to be a wonderful dog for children. I have found that Maltese enjoy children as much as they enjoy the dog!

An owner must groom Maltese dogs regularly, which entails washing and brushing them every other week, clipping their toe nails, and cleaning their ears. Maltese are beautiful in their long flowing white coat but live happiest in a two-inch coat cut like a puppy.

All of my Maltese puppies come with a full Health Vet Certificate to insure your puppy will be healthy at the time of your purchase. Also they will have had their first set of shots.
