"night night, go back to sleep" means. I say it and she lays her head back down on her blanket and sleeps contentedly. You must have already taught her these "night night" words. She is so smart. She seems to just want to be reassured that we are there watching over her. On the second day home she amazed me again when I tossed her toy for her to play with she went and got it and brought the toy back to me in her mouth and placed it on the floor next to me! She knows how to fetch already!! We are so impressed by how smart happy and playful she is. You have done an exceptional job on caring and raising her up to this point in her little life. We could not have asked for a more happier, healthier puppy. We are blessed to have her in our lives. She truly brightens up our days. It is so amusing watching to see what she will do next. Well it's back to playing with Holli. My new favorite thing to do.
Thank you again for allowing us to become Holli's new Human parents.

Dear Linda,

Thank you Thank you Thank you for the adorable pictures

of Holli's brothers & sister puppies.
They are SO CUTE! I want to frame some and put them in Holli's room. I wrote a poem for Holli today.
I want to send you a copy of my poem
It is titled: "Puppies from Heaven"
Heaven must have sent you
To brighten up my day
It makes me laugh and smile
To simply watch you play
From your little button nose
To your swift wagging tail
Together we will journey
Down life's many trails
I wake up in the morning
You wake up too
So happy to see me
How can I feel blue
Heaven must have sent you
You tiny ball of fluff
I'm so thankful you're around
When life can be tuff
We get a little peek of Heaven
When we look in a puppy's eyes
The genuine love they show us
Giving us inspiration with each new sunrise

Hi Linda- (You were recommended by our veterinarian) Dixie
Thank you for our Melanie she is such a joy.
She is a little doll and all our
friends go crazy over her. She is a ball of energy and quite a handful,
but so much fun and has such a personality. She is so outgoing and
friendly. As I said, your wonderful care definitely shows. My husband
and I really want to get another little one.
Melanie is eating well and "I am pretty well potty trained now." Ha.
She
does know what potty means and where to go when I take her outside.
I
wish you could see her run around and retrieve the small tennis ball. Such fun!
Thank goodness she is still sleeping through the entire night
and takes a
long nap when I do. It brings back memories when I could hardly wait
until nap time when our daughters were babies.
Have any of your females come in heat or is it too early? How is the
little male doing that went to Alaska?
'Hope all is well up in your neck of the woods.

Oliver's Update
Sun, April 25, 2010 1:40:53 AM
Hi Linda,
I just wanted to give you an update on
Oliver. He is doing very well and is continuing to get settled in
nicely. Now that the snow has melted in our yard and it's warming up,
we have started to try and housebreak him. He is doing very, very well!
Our house is set up just perfectly so that the back door to our yard
is right by the kitchen and living room. We have the back deck fenced
off so he only has that area to use so far, but it's working out very
nicely for him. We are going to put our fence up in a few weeks so that
Oliver will have more room to scamper around.
We also introduced him to the neighbor's dogs a few
days ago. They have two PomChi's named Tucker and Bones and the three
of them got along very nicely! They romped and played very well, and
surprisingly Oliver outlasted both of them! Today Oliver met my god-son
Xander. Xander is 18 months old and they were each fascinated with
each other. Xander was very gentle and Oliver gave him lots of puppy
kisses.
Chip is trying to teach Oliver to play fetch. He
has a tiny tennis ball that Chip will roll across the floor. Oliver
chases after it and will run it back to Chip, they'll play that game for
about 15 minutes at a time. Oliver is starting to become a little bit
more independent. He is doing well at playing by himself and branching
away from us a little bit, although he just loves to be close to us.
I've attached a few pictures of Oliver in his new
home. There is one of Oliver with Chip, another with Oliver and I on
the couch, and one of Oliver looking precious at the camera. He poses
very well for pictures! We will keep you updated as he continues to
grow! I hope everything is well with you!
Take Care,
Savannah, Chip, and Oliver
